We are excited to start planning for the 2021 season. We are planning to have a season, including hosting a competition in September (see details below).
REGISTRATION Registration is now OPEN for the season and there is an early signup discount of $10 if you sign up by March 15th. We are also offering a $20 volunteer discount as we did last year. We will have more information coming soon, but wanted to share the registration information right away. Registration Link
CHEER BOARD MEETING We have a cheer board meeting Tuesday, Feb 2nd at 6:00 pm in the HS Cafeteria. Masks required & social distancing can easily be accommodated in the room. We encourage you to attend.
VOLUNTEERING – COMMITTEES, BOARD, COMPETITION Going forward, we are going to need a lot of volunteers to begin to take a more active role in coaching and serving on the Cheer board. Three of the four members of the board will have daughters in their final year of youth cheer this year. If you think you would be interested in serving on the board, please let us know. We would love to be able to transfer a lot of our knowledge before we officially transition. If you are interested in getting involved now, we have an opening for a League Rep on the Board. This position serves as the liaison between CNEAA and our cheer board. The meetings are currently the first Sunday of the month at 11 am.
COACHING If you are interested in being a head coach or assistant coach, please email us and let us know. We are in need of coaches for multiple age groups. We will have a coach’s clinic this year to help each coach with practice, organization & basics. We also plan to have on choreographer that will help at least one practice per week & will create the routine for the competition. We are going to give you everything you need to succeed with your squad – including optional conditioning prior to the start of the season for all girls.
CAMPS / CONDITIONING We are hopeful we can do a late spring cheer camp, but it will depend on the availability of outdoor facilities. We will have virtual (optional) conditioning and coaches clinics in the spring & early summer as well.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out & we will do the best we can to give you answers.
